Privacy Policy

The short version

Happy Genius collects the information you give us through the contact form on this site: your name, business name, email, and whatever you write in the message. We use it to respond to you and follow up about working together. We don't sell it, we don't run ads with it, and we don't track you around the internet with it.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, business name (if you give one), email address, and message. That's it. We don't ask for anything else on this site, and there's no account to create.

How we use it

We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry, follow up about a consultation, and keep a record of the conversation so we're not asking you to repeat yourself. Submitting the form also sends you a short automatic confirmation email.

Where it's stored

Submissions are stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (specifically Cloudflare Workers KV), the same platform this site runs on. If you'd like your information removed, email hello@happygenius.ca and we'll delete it.

Who else sees it

A few outside services help run this site and are worth being upfront about:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores contact form submissions.
• Resend sends the confirmation and notification emails when you submit the form.
• Calendly powers the booking widget if you schedule a consultation through it. Calendly has its own privacy policy covering that part of the process.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site, which involves a request to Google's servers when the page loads.

None of these get access to your information beyond what's needed to do their specific job.

What we don't do

This site doesn't use analytics, tracking cookies, or advertising pixels. We're not watching how you use this site, and we're not selling or renting your information to anyone.

Your rights

You can ask what we have on file, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely, at any time, by emailing hello@happygenius.ca. We'll handle it directly, no forms or hoops.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use this site after a change means you're okay with the update.
